Where to find weber replacement parts?

I bought a weber dcoe 45 for 50 bucks, only problem with it is that the the piece that holds the float on the top cover is broken off, I've taken it to several shops and they say it's too small to repair. So I've been looking for websites that would sell just the top cover by it self but I've had no luck. Anybody know someone that sells these separately and preferably in the US?

Weber performance .com sells them for $137 plus shipping I guess. That should fix your problem and its a nice set up. Problem number two, these are Italian carbs. You can find replacement parts on Ebay or VW stores, but what you want is an original carburetor part. Just be thankful they still make these and you can find parts for them pretty easy. Or you can always buy another used carb (for parts) in the US and fix yours.

Oh very nice, but its really expensive because of the extra parts and shipping, not just the cover itself. It seems like thats my only option though. Yeah, I had some mikunis i bought but i decided to sell them because its just down right impossible to get parts for those things, sadly. So going back with my weber route, thanks for the reply.

you need the top cover??? it has 2 tabs that a pin goes threw it to hold the float ??? rite ???
I have a parts webber and im pretty sure that part is on the carb.when I go check threw my stuff I ll check & let you know if I do and price?,,,

the whole carb is good for parts the back piece broke ,,give me $100. for the carb + shipping flat rate is cheaper where r you ?

sorry about the late response. I'm only trying to get the cover, I dont need a whole carb since I'm no longer going the 45 route

N/p. just trying to help,,I'll keep it cause I still have my old set up put away that is dual 45's
