Post by bryanhernandez3727 »

Is their a easy way of changing the oil pan gasket, or the whole oil pan out with out having to drop the engine ?
In a TE21 2tc or corolla thanks.

Possible but difficult. I have done it in a TE27 which will be the same. I needed to drop the oil pump to remove the pan. I actually changed the crank while in the car but would have been faster and easier to pull the engine. But just the oil pan, I wouldnt pull the engine.

That's correct I loosen my engine mounts to remove my oil pan to tap in a return from the turbo and a little tight but it'll come out.
