I wish there were a more panned out view but I 'think' I have at least a clue... My guess is that there are a total of 4 turbochargers on that engine which is in a V12(?) configuration. The middle two turbo's get first go at the exhaust gas then their dump pipes are connected one each to the turbines of the outer two turbo's. The outer two turbo's then dump the used exhaust gas to atmosphere. For the compressor side the two outer turbos take in atmospheric air, compress it, then feed it one each into the compressor of the inner turbos where it is compressed further and then each of the inner turbos feed to one of the engines intake manifold. It appears they have a crossover of turbocharger system from each bank to help provide even boost pressure to both sides... I could also be absolutely totally WRONG!!![]()
