Were there diffrent spline patterns on t50 transmission rear output shafts from year to year?

I think the 2tc engines all the way to the 80s is the same and 81 and 82 are different. I think 2tc is 20 and 81 and 82 are 22. But yes they are different.

Would the front section of driveline be the same length on 2tc as on a 3tc?
