needmopowa!!!
Please help me squeeze more power out of my 3tc you guys. So far you guys kick ass on this forum and trust your advice. So what can I do for some gains?
Re: needmopowa!!!
Well theres not really much we can help you with. The only thing you said is that you need more power........... Do you have a 10 second car, street high performance car, stock car, turbo, NA, EFI? ........... These cars can make lots of HP depending on what YOU want to do. Pretty sure if you spend time on here and read a few threads you will get a few ideas.

Re: needmopowa!!!
Just a freshly rebuilt te37,. Engine so far has a 32/36, dual valve Springs, oversized intake valves, bored and polished intake and exhaust ports, headers, lightened flywheel, 2tc dizzy and oil pan, oil cooler, the rest is fairly stock in good condition,.
I drive her fairly rough attacking corners with grip, I'd like to swap out the cam, radiator, oil pump, ignition syste,. Starting off with the cam,. I'm still a bit novice so I'll take whatever advice I can get,.

Re: needmopowa!!!
Problem #1 dual springs and stock cam? You might be actually losing "powa" because you are grinding the cam with too much pressure. If you have all that you should try to get a 3tc block. Bigger engine more powa!
But if you drive like a drifter then I think the 2tc revs faster. It really depends on how you drive about the cam. If its a daily driver you dont want a 300 cam unless you have money to feed that thing all the time. For street I would go from a 274 to maybe a 290, maybe. I mean the bigger the cam the more power you will make but its all about what you want. You can check out ISKY cams, pretty nice cams for what you are looking for.
Ignition is obvious MSD, coil and wires to go with a decent pump. Remember everything you do = tuning.

Re: needmopowa!!!
I thought it'll help me since I keep it in the higher end of the revs when I'm up on the canyons. I'm not in it for drag or pulls for that matter more in it for like rally or grip runs,.
I'm picking up a coil blaster 2 very soon and match it with the newer 6al2,. N yea I'm going to have to tweak it from scratch,.
Also I'm sure my blocks a 3tc? It's engraved on its side with 3t? The engine was taken from an 81' engine bay,. The original 2t was re built as a group A spec engine by its oreiginal owner

You did say 3tc HAHA! But then you said you had a rebuilt TE37. Got
Anyways I think all your questions can be answered by the original owner if thats possible. He got the engine that you needed and built what you want.
