Aren't there arrows on the top of the pump showing inlet and outlet? There should be an inlet from the tank, outlet to the carb and a return line. The return line is a little smaller then the inlet and outlet. I don't have a stock pump anymore, or I'd go take a picture. Can anyone help this guy out?

Ok I just saw a picture. Im glad you said it had 3 lines. ;) So the line closer to the car is the "in" line and the one closer to the distributor is the out. Then the middle is return.
