Te27 R
Name: Michael
Car: 1972 Ke25 / Te27 Replica
Motor & Driveline: Te27 engine crossmember, Ta22 2TG, Weber sidedraughts and T50 forward position selector, Factory Te27 radiator, Te27 driver shaft and te27 T series 3.9 with TRD LSD 10 bolt diff, custom 4 - 1 extractors 2inch exhust.
Suspension & Brakes: Te27 steering arms, te71 struts and brakes converted to adjustable coil over suspension, T3 camber plates, T3 RCA'S, 2 inch lowering blocks in the back with KYB adjustable shocks, white line rear sway bar.
Wheels & Tyres: 14 x 8 front and 14 x 9 rear Volk mesh with Toyo T1r 225 40 14
Interior: Te27 200Kph rev counter dash, Te27 3 Guage heater console, Te27 Sprinter glove box lid, Te27 Center console, Replica Te27 JDM front seats, Te27 Sprinter steering wheel.
Body: Te27 Hydrolic pedal box Te27 Sprinter rear guard vents, 100mm flares, Te27 Trueno Tail lights, Te27 Sprinter bonnet vents, Paint Cookie Monster blue (which will be changed one day).
Note: Some may wonder why I have listed what seem to be mediocre Te27 parts, it is because we never received Te27 Trueno or Levin's in New Zealand comercially, so these parts have cost a lot of time and money to bring together. If you have any of these parts I and others I know would be very interested in buying them.
Other: Once I have her back on the road Ill be building a 2ltr 2TG using a later EFI 2tg 3t crank, fordged rods and pistons but keeping with the induction carburetor configuration to keep the factory look. Will also be hunting down all the other JDM Te27 bits to complete her.
One done three to go.
Painted the back up with satin black to tidy it up.
Center was painted 'Off White' and fitted.
Then slapped it on the car.
I feel that they are offset to far in so I put a 20mm hub adaptor in which brings it out to a good place.
Finished polishing all four wheels and fitted them
My girls chilling
Wrinkle coated the rocker cover
and recevied and installed the Te27 replica front seats I ordered.

Love the TE27's. Great build
Re: Te27 R
Thanks for all you comments!
Just a couple of small jobs and she should be back on the road.
- Castor arms theard lengthened so I can pull the front wheels forward and run wheel spaces to pump the front wheels out some more.
- Wheel alignment once I've played with the castor arms.
- Straighten the shifter lever , bent and hits my knee which in 5th
- General check over
- Certification
- Compliance
- Drive
