Question Billet Block
Has anyone had a source for a CNC Billet block for the 2TC and 3TC engine? If so, can you share that information, please?
Re: Question Billet Block
Have you reached the limit of the stock block? Or cant find any decent ones.
Curious what power you're getting out of them

Re: Question Billet Block
Back then when the big boys experience limit they swap for 4Y blocks.

Re: Question Billet Block
So the answer is no!
Then no one has improved or corrected the design errors as of yet.

Re: Question Billet Block
So go from a front mount oil pan to a rear mount oil pan.
Which cross member will they have to use for that engine installation?
Which timing chain cover would be used to seal this system?
Count the head bolts!
Look at the front of this block and let us see how any of the standard timing covers for a 2TC, 2TG and 3TC can be secured to this block!
Re: Question Billet Block
That was not the direction for this leading subject. Does anyone have a source for a Cad-designed block as a replacement for the 2TC and 3TC engine block!
Standard design or redesigned was where I was going with this subject. (Focus!)
The redesign question was to ask about oil squirters for cooling below the piston crowns, or the addition of a four-bolt main for the crankshaft.
Correction of the oil supply issues to the third and fourth cylinders.
There would be additional modifications to increase the overall output from this engine design as well as needed improvements to increase the cylinder wall thickness to allow for an increase in overall bore limits.
That was why I asked this question in the first place.
