Suspension and Brake Upgrades?

Hey how's it going you guys?
I have TE31 that I'm gonna be bumping up the performance of a 2tc on.
Whether I should just swap it out or try and upgrade it is another question for a another thread..
Point being that I will obviously need better suspensions and brakes once I start putting more power into the car, so I was wondering what's a good and relatively easy/not as expensive swap out? I thought I read that the ae86' suspensions were direct bolt or close too it? Would that be my best bet?

I did the ae86 brake swap and its easy. You need ae86 strut assembly an the strut mount from your car, then it's direct bolt in.

It may change the width of the front.
