white smoke coming out of valvecover breather

hi, I have a 1980 corolla liftback with a 3tc. it has duel 40 webbers mild cam and headers. Lately there has been smoke coming out of valvecover breather. But there is no smoke coming out the exhaust. what could it be. the plugs aren't oil soaked.

also wanna say the car runs good, just the smoke, when at a stop light looks like my engine is on fire. its not constant either. it comes and goes but lately more often now

found the problem, was head gasket leaking oil into cylinder.

Youre piston rings may be bad causing smoke in the crankcase this escape out if the breather (AKA back pressure ) ! Do you have your breather hose to intake installed

What static ignition timing and octane fuel were you running? What do you reckon caused the head gasket to go?

no I don't have hose hooked up to intake. its just a K&N breather off the valve cover

Oh great to hear you found the problem so steam was pushing true the bad gasket normally this can be see in the exhaust extreme condense water coming out the exhaust pipe !
