3tc Ignition module options?

MY Ignition module stopped working.. To dive my car I have to manually start it by connecting +) coil to battery then turning the key.
Isnt the coil supposed to be throwing volts with key in the on position? Mines not!
I found a Module from a 22r I believe.. the plugs are different but the wires are exactly the same.. Here's a picture..

Just makes me wonder are there any oem upgrades?
Are there any interchangeable Modules or aftermarket options? OEM are +170$ LOWEST new!
If theres a cheaper way for an aftermarket distrib, coil, module, I'm all for it!
