I have a 85 Corolla with a 2t motor has after market pistons and rods with cams. Not sure what cams but pistons is bored to 89mm.
(The problem)The previous owner told me that he had a problem with the pushrods bending. Now this is were im clueless lol this is my first time playing with this motor so just need some help on what I should look at before I start to buy parts for the motor. Thanks

The valves may be contacting the Pistons. I always check my valve to piston clearance with clay on the piston and no valve lash before running an engine
