motor swap questions

im in the middle of swapping a 3tc into my ke30 chassis. i was pretty much told that all i needed was te31 tranny crossmember, engine mount modifications, and a hydraulic setup since my k40 was mechanical. . is the wiring going to be all plug n play once i drop it in? if i go with a t40 trans am i looking for an earlier model or later? what if i decide on a t50? these are the types of things i would like some clarification on.
