So I was lucky enough to get a '78 Corolla locally and am starting work on it. Before I purchase a manual for it I wanted to know peoples opinions on what the "best" one is and what source they would purchase from.
I want something that shows everything so I know exactly what is missing so I can fix it right.

Most comprehensive would be toyota, then bentley, haynes and chilton. If they still sell the toyota manual, I think they run over $100 from the dealer.

Find a factory one if you can. The haynes and chiltons group too many years and body styles together unless you get an old copy. I was lucky enough to run across a factory chassis manual and factory steering & suspension manual at a used book store. Best manual I've ever used.
