te27 hood vents?

i originally was thinking about louvers. the carb side have the louvers face forward and the exhaust side have the louvers face back.

i was thinking about ways to lower engine bay temps. i want to get some ideas and see how things look on the hood

That was my 71 wagon but personally I hate louvers. If you dont care how the engine looks then fine but impossible to keep clean if exposed to rain. Also not a fan of the look.

I vented mine by adding washers where the hood attaches... Since I have no accessories even heat, I really on the heat poring out right on my windshield which it does.. Now I just need to find a way to fore more cold air in the front..
Then again I'm doing mine for best engine performance not looks.
