We pulled the motor today,
gonna strip everything down.
Were gonna ditch the steering box and go with rack and pinion.
More updates sooon:)

Your guys don't play around keep it up

Today i pulled apart most of the car,all interior except the dash has been torn out.
Once we get the lexus out of the shop we will move the wagon in and drop the subframe
and front suspension.
i got a 86 one from a friend so we will be throwing in a manual rack and ditch the steering box.
im still waiting on a few things to sell so i can order my mounts.
once we have the motor fitted we can chop up the trans tunnel.
after that the bay and inside of the car will be painted.
much more progress soon:)

the engine has been mounted,
we notched thefirewall so we have more clearance with the bellhousing.
now we are going to pull and rebuild the 1uz.
we will be stitch welding the bay and prepping it for paint soon.

I LOVE THE LOVE BOAT. Man, this engine is gaining popularity exponentially and for good reason. i've considered it myself but can't justify it against the simplicity of the 3TC...i'm so freakin lazy hehehe.

this will be alot harder than working on a 3tc lol.
im thinking about selling this swap and going with a vvti one.
but we will see

The 1uz is out for a rebuild,so i prepped the bay for stitch welding.
My friend is going to weld everything up and patch all the holes.then we will paint the bay,we will move on to stitch welding the rest of the car also
