Cause thats how people usually make 3t fit in an ae86 i made up some plates and used them to scoot the engine forward about 3/4"

Actually i mount the tranny where it goes and with the engine attached to the tranny i weld little extensions to the factory engine bracket to use the factory crossmember brackets and 3tc mounts it works perfect every time and the engine is in the right place all the time!

Many ways to do it. Most Hawaii guys use the TE72 engine x-member, straight bolt up, no cutting or welding.kid_te72 wrote:Cause thats how people usually make 3t fit in an ae86 i made up some plates and used them to scoot the engine forward about 3/4"
