Your current installed transmission will be listed on the plate in the engine compartment. If you have an a40 the splines / yoke will be too big. Your driveline will not reach the tailshaft of the transmission either. I believe the an a40 equipped te31 will bolt a w58 style box with no driveshaft mods. You might want to keep a look out for a 2 piece driveshaft that will fit the old style t40 / t50, or be ready to have one made or modified. Hope this helps.

i have the same corolla mines is a 3 speed automatic im looking for a manual transmission as well did it fit good on your corolla??
