Re: 1980 Corolla SR5 - Jack of all trades
Well, here is how the paint turned out. Definitely some issues from my laziness on stripping the old paint and little things, but I am happy that she is now one color and I have painted my first car. Learned alot for my next paint job.
Definately had issues with laying down primer and color in good coats.
Here is where it shines that I should have allotted more time for this project and stripped it all down to metal. The chem stripping I did was not very consistent.
Looks ok in the pic, but pretty sure the sun is going to point out alot of issues.

Re: 1980 Corolla SR5 - Jack of all trades
I have been good, just busy with kids bday and other hobbies and such lol. I have the body pieces assembled, just need to:
- Remove old tint
- Add new tint
- Figure out best solution to reinstall rear glass(gasket is toast and dont want to spend 180 on new rubber)
- Reinstall the rest of the glass
- Assemble the rest of the odds and ends lol.
Hope to get time next week to finish. Planning on removing the rest of the tint this weekend after fixing the woman's car.

Well, small update for Milla.
I got a good car cover and moved her out of the garage for the up coming winter, so figure I should post some current state pics.
She still runs and drives. I am just slowly working on speaker pods and interior. Nothing special till the day she is fully stripped and given a full overhaul.

Well, small up date.
She now has a cheap eBay header on. Can't do much till I atleast get a test pipe cause my o2 sensor is only reading fresh air due to position to the end of the header.
And here is the old exhaust. Finally removed the small ass exhaust.
