Re: TE31's post em' up!
This is a car I used to have, a buddy of mine has it now. It was a track only car, gutted to the max (not even any glass in it). Didn't make too much power, but it was so light that it was really fun to drive. I would always brag about how much time that car spent going FASTER than 100mph, and that it was one of the fastest TE31's out there. I used to think it was really crazy, but it is pretty tame compared to the TE37 I have now.
This was the first time I took it out to California Speedway.
This was taken at Buttonwillow.
3TC motor. Dellorto sidedrafts, race cam and valvetrain mods, Thorley 4 into 1 header, but stock bottom end--would have made way more power with high compression pistons, but I never got around to getting them.
Unfortunately, this car hasn't moved since I let it go. I hope to get it back one day so it can thrash on the track again.

Here is my daily driver 78 TE31 was an auto converted to manual with a 2TC running full header back exhaust, and is also powered by a set of 1993 Honda CBR900RR carbs grafted to the side. Have done some other suspension mods to the rear with springs off of a Samurai and anti axle wrap leafs along with some camaro shocks.

Where does every body get these sweet front lips for the TE31s?
Re: TE31's post em' up!
I think they are Mk1 Golf lips... I've seen it done many times on these forums.
