Where to wire my Sunpro Tach too?
I have my sunpro tach all wired up except for the wire to read the RPMS..
Now I hear your supposed to use the negative terminal from my coil, but that is not working...
What wire from my module, coil, or distributor should I splice into to get a reading?
If it is the negative coil terminal what else can I try to troubleshoot it?

Dang I'm not getting anything. Ill try it again just to be sure, but could it be the tach?
The lights work.. I can set the RPM shift light..

Can I use the wire from behind the Stock tach? IF so what wire would that be?Kenny727 wrote:Dang I'm not getting anything. Ill try it again just to be sure, but could it be the tach?

IS there a fuse the could have been blown inside the tach?
does the gauge of the wire really matter since its just going to the negative?

Yes its on 4.. I get no reading in any settting.BOBLOOK wrote:Those tach are universal did you set the correct cyl 4 ?

And yes it goes directly to the negative side of the coil?
Can I hook it up of the distributor or something?
Now I was short on wire and used a remote amp wire would that be a problem?

No the dizzy don't read tach signal

I have it wired:
Black to Ground
Red to Switched power
White to Switched power (Keep the light on)
Green to negative on coil
The - on the coil only has the green wire, and black from the ignitor.
Tomorrow I will use my multi meter
Negative to green wire
positive to red wire
If that shows voltage does it mean its my tach?
