trying to wire my 82 starlet can someone help me identify which wires go were please.

The plug connectors shapes itself indicate where they goes in there counter-plug they where different shapes so you can't interconnect them while connecting

The longest is for the distributor the other are options tach/ and extr

Well the reason I ask cause the coil and igniter are not from the car (82 starlet) and when I bought the car it had no engine or trans.so the plugs are different.

You didn't said that so i though car most be stock so now you need an wire conversion 4age to 4k wiring ?

what engine is installed now ?

Thats an easy one, trow away the stock igniter and do a MSD 6al that will give u a REV limiter and a better spark that u will need for your 4AG plus only 2 wires from the dizzy will be used chose the right ones as i dont remember the colors, anyway it wont hurt it if connect the wrong one! on the dizzy i mean,
and as the MSD is mounted with a simple connection you should have no problem what so ever!

Thanks Guy's got it figured out! car fired right up but I'm going to have to get a MSD 6AL-2 like Juan said, stock 4age distributor does not advance the timing without the factory ecu.
