Post by point8rolla »

Hello people I'm new but a recently brought a 79 corolla with a built 3tc drove a couple and now it won't start . I found that the problem is the msd 6al. Now I want to go back to stock ignition system but there seems to be a plug missing right now that plug is run to the msd to bottom of the distributer but theres no way or no plug coming from the stock wire harness to go back to stock any help we be greatly appreciated thanks

The missing plug might be the igniter plug as for msd use you can remove the igniter. You might need the igniter to make it work again ! Here the diagram ! You can get another msd on ebay for cheap. :!:
