Will KE Hood and Grille Fit TE Fenders, Cowl, Valence?

Hi all,

Has anyone tried to switch the hood and grille from the 1200cc KE series to the same generation TE series bodies? It appears they might fit without any drama. I am painting my TE38 and like the looks of the lower hood of the 3xKE cars.

Wanting to experiment, and living in Portland, Oregon, does anyone have a rust-free KE parts car?
