Plastic Dash Cap Cover

Post by admayen » Mon Mar 31, 2014 6:40 pm

Hi. I need to replace the dash on my corolla because it is severely cracked. The foam has split and is breaking off so to remedy this I was thinking of covering it with a plastic dash cover. Has anyone ever applied a plastic dash cover on their corolla or other vehicle? Is it worth it? Opinions? Thanks.

If you're not sure about what I'm talking about check it out here http://www.ebay.com/itm/Toyota-Corolla- ... b7&vxp=mtr

Thanks guys for the input. The dash on my TE is irreplaceable. I don't think I can save it. Boblook's dash is a beauty compared to mine. If and when I get a chance to take a picture of my dash I'll put it up.

I have one of those dash covers in my 77 Celica. It's definitely than the ugly broken up original dash beneath, but it's pretty apparent it's just a cover. The edges don't line up quite right and stick out. But for lack of another option they would be perfect.

I like it. Did you just put it over with original dashboard with glue? Thanks.
