I actually want that setup with the single side draught...what would really help me, is the jettings for the carb, because here in cape town, nobody has done it, and we can't get any help from them. Does the vw golf mk4 gti's turbo use the draw through system? Or which other car's turbo uses the draw through system?

i know that is what you want my friend but unfortunately i cannot advise on what was the jetting used for this setup. Either way if i had it from the guy it may not of necessarily worked for your setup so the best thing to do if you were interested in going this way is to start with whatever jets the sidedraft you will be using has and tune as required probably with a wideband.. Well that's what i'm planning to do!! here is a few links on where you can get some turbos that were built for draw through and are available for purchase from cheap to steep:

http://www.lowbugget.com/Schwitzer_Turbo.html

http://compturbo.com/

http://www.turbocharged.com/catalog/t-series.html

I can guarantee that the Holley 600CFM supercharger carburettor will work, out of the box, without hesitation on your draw thru system!! It did for me per my previous pics, no hesitation, no lag, just power from the time you step on it with or without boost despite people saying it will be too much for that poor, little 1.6 2T with stock cam.. Not true.. And i didn't tune anything otherwise i'm sure that car could of run better times on the track!!!

I'm the draw thru guy..lol soon to be draw-thru turbo too!!!

We never pressurized our 38/38 or 32/36 weber carbs when we ran blow through our 1.5L stock sunny engine with 8 psi boost and it ran fine!!! 16.2 on the quarter mile on stock tyres:::

Thanks for your advice, assistance and help gents. If I wasn't informed about the draw through, I honestly wouldn't have known a thing about it.

I take it you don't need a boost dependent regulator or if you do how would you set it up?

With the Holley boost referenced carburetors you don't need a boost dependent regulator for draw through

If you using a side draft or downdraft Weber i believe you would need one
