Stll stinks to high heavens...........

New weber carb, new cat converter, new plugs, new wires and new fuel filter, why does my exhaust still stinks like salty sulfer? there is no smoke and mpg are awesome (better than my 1.9 1997 nissan sentra i think) is it just the nature of the beast?

change the muffler since everything that could collect in it already has....

My first thought would be the Cat. What smog equipment do you have/not have? Without a smog pump, I'd think the catalyst would be at risk of overheating, which might cause problems? Just spitballing...
