You would think but info for thought, the distributor parts are out of stock, I owned one and ordered parts from a friend and six month later still not able to get the parts; And this was his business to get rare Toyota Parts. His sources and my sources from japan could only come up with used parts at that time. This was three years ago. maybe now they are available, after someone has dug them up from a rat-hole in their storage.

I sold the engine, you can turbo anything, just do it with a backup source of available parts or it becomes just a shiny item on your engine stand.

There is many other better options other than factory dizzy for the 3TGTE, coil over plug being the best of them all with Mitsu Montero coils 4 of them for all 8 plugs as they are dual outlet ones, it couldn't get any better than that, and trust me it will be as much as paying for a rare unobtanium new factory 3TGTE dizzy!

I keep coming back to this post. Since my last post, I have been ordering parts for a future build. gaskets set are still available but the half moon gasket or Cam Bore Plugs (as they are called) rarely comes with these kits unless they are OEM Toyota Gasket sets. The ones on Ebay state that these are not included with the ones from down under.

I had to read an Old Toymods post to find that the Mitsubishi cam bore plug fits as a great replacement. To test this out, I ordered them to compare the sizes and they are exactly the same plug, same size, same width, exactly the same.

"Ishino/Stone" Part Number JF-36920 (MD050536)(219-37001-368) each 1 per package. (two required) Just a heads-up!

2TG/18RG Gasket Sets:
This takes a long time to download, now all we have to now find is a local distributor for these gaskets. These appear to be "made in japan".

lol, an internet search brought this post as the first result. could not find another comparison...

Plans have changed, and no more resto...

seeing as

http://www.kameariusa.com/toyota-2tg/

are too expensive, for the 2tg, of course, i was told that.

so probably will use the twin carbs from the 2tg, and the flywheel to build on the 3tc. and go from there...
Nothing here yet, just and empty space... I just wasted 10 seconds of your life when u finish reading this... LOL
