AE86 doesn't need to be describe as "rare"... it is already kinda over valued in general. A genuine Black Limited... thats rare. In the US, a genuine rhd car is rare... but for $3k on top of what you pay on yahoo japan you can import your own.
Being olde (55) I remember when 64-66 Mustangs... V8 cars, could be purchased for $200. After all they made a million + Mustangs in those 3 years Try to find a 64-66 V8 Mustang priced anywhere near that today..........
As I see it... my AE71 coupe is pretty rare... you can't get replacement sheetmetal... glass is nearly non existent... try to find a set of tail lamps...
BUT I do like all of that... because I see more Tesla's driving around then I see E7 Corolla coupes
I can agree on the AE71. It's not so much of the use of the word rare as it is the extra couple grand added to the price when accompanied by the word. Like the 87 SR5 auto with a good body but the guy wanted 6320 which should include a free head check with purchase.

What about a 2TG with a cam grin of int322R and exh304R,. Along with everything swapped from stock to somewhat match a N2 spec engine,. The guy who is offering it to me for 3k worked for toysport in his days,?

I'd be willing to bet it would cost you more than this to replicate it... Now if it also has the full counterweight TRD crank

2000gt has allways been rare, 351 produced says wiki. But i think ppl who says that hes car is rare means actually that it is "less common" than in the past.
Like ke20 corolla in here. In the 90's you could change pack of smokes to corolla
But not anymoore, not even close.

1971 Toyota hilux with a 3tc swap is that rare im sorry just puffin up my ego lol hahaha and hey I have a 1972 Porsche 914
and a 1980 Toyota corolla 3tc turbo efi and a 1985 Toyota corolla gts with a 4age bluetop any of them rear I was tring to sell the truck on craigslist and this guy said all he would pay was 2500 and that a 4ac would make it produce more power and that the 3tc engine I had put in there was not worth anything we had not come to an agreement so his ass went back home to north Carolina and I live in texas lol omg his wife was pissed
so its rare im guessing

Is it worth money? Nope. Maybe 4k at most. But its definetely rare now a days to see one. Only a few threads in Jnc.com. But im keeping it forever...
