New Member "Old School" TE72 build

Post by Adobote72 »

What's up guys. New member on here. I picked up this bad boy about 2 months ago. I grew up watching my old man building these and the minute I found this thing I had to have it. It's got the original 3tc motor with 65k on the dial all original. So far I haven't done much. I removed the rear bumper and painted the lower portion behind it to clean it. Removed the pin stripes and gave it a fresh tune up. Starts up like a charm. For my plans are to build an old school jdm inspired build with my twists along the way. Stay tuned for more updates from time to time.

Update: Picked up a set of Baby Supra "anch y fino" wheels and am currently getting them refinished. Would anyone be able to help me out with tire sizes for these. Like the post says I am going for that old school look. Thanx guys.

Good looking ride. Good luck with the build. Can't offer much on tire size though.

Haven't posted in a while due to the house taking most of my time but here's a few updates...

Picked up a set of Megan Racing AE86 coils

A few hours later I had her sitting pretty. I'll be going lower once the Baby Supra's go on

Took the Rolla out for a spin and looky looky.. Finally got my Baby Supra's back from being refinished. Well worth the wait.. Tires are ordered so they'll be going on soon.

Took advantage of the beautiful day we had here in NJ and decided to take remove the front bumper. Made custom brackets to mount the turn signals and painted everything to make it look nice and clean.

Wow that's a pretty clean Corolla considering all the snow and salt you guys got there! :D What size tires did you end up throwing on the Baby Supras?
