Very nice. This inspires me to work on my TE-27. I noticed that you used ebay coilovers. If the spring rate is around 320lbs. then you have the same set up that I have on my TE31. It will ride stock height, but will be nice and firm. Looking forward to more progress.

skellington,

It shouldn't ride stock height cause I used a short stroke shocks, plus I notice the ebay spring is almost the same as the qa1 7-250 springs that summit sells. That qa1 spring I brought for my TE28. Now the ebay one is not the Best quality but it does the job...lol

 Ya. it got me too. What happened with mine: I lowered about .75" or so with the sw20 rear strut. The stock springs were so soft that they would settle down quite a bit when being loaded with the vehicles weight. The new springs I had were 320# these just gave much less considering it would be 640# to move these springs 1". I think I gained about a 1/2" drop from just swapping these parts. If you want more low, you have to cut out a section of the strut tube and shorten your spacer. Or of you look at my thread, I have made some cressida struts that I intend to use. Those were shortened to accept the length of the mr2 strut with no spacers. That set up will give me the same ride, but about 2.5" lower.
Sorry for the long ramble, but I hope it helps.
