This isn,t going too good :x

This is with new cheap main bearings. So measured the caps, 4 of those cos the machine was too small for measure the 3. cap.
1= 62.012
2= 62.032
3=?
4=62.041
5=62.037

and crank was:
1= 57.965
2=57.970
3= 57.970
4=57.970
5=57.960

IF the bearings are 2mm there is 0.077 oil clearance in 5. I ordered std king bearings and try with those, lets see how it goes. :roll:

Wow oldschool haven't see those measurement method for almost 20 years :lol: :lol: Are you cutting the crank down ?

Good measure method :D No, i dont cut crank. I ordered better quality bearing and installed those.

Has been while :D

Just boughted nissan 200 sx front end, few pics of them compared to te71

te71 bush is 12mm hole and nissan is 14mm

Controll arm bolts are: te71 10mm, nissan 12mm

+bigger brakes
+better bearing
+No ae86 prices :D
+same bolt pattern

Nissan crossmember is also quite similar only 0,5cm differense on the bolt holes.
