Final Drive for n/a 3T

Postby 1940Toy on Thu Feb 11, 2010 1:38 am

Hi Guys,

Need some advice here. Will a 5.14 final drive with a set of 26inch Mickey Thompsons work on a n/a 1940cc 3T setup?

Or is 5.14 too high and should I try a 4.55 ratio first. I have both, so I am willing to play around.

I have tried the 5.14 ratio out already and finish the 1/4 mile changine to 4th but 2000rpm below power band. So my feeling at the moment is that the 4.55 would be better. The top end isn't too good either. Ending at about 92mph.

Running a w55 transmission with this setup.

Advice please
