The trac is still in the sit and wait mode :/ Trying to save my half for the wedding before I spend any big money on cars lol. Figure it's going to be around 1k, maybe a little under for the rebuild stuff. So, just need to save that up (after saving for wedding) and decide if I want to rebuild the motor or put a newer motor in.

There are motors out of JDM Caldina's that were made till early 2000's that sound like it would be great for me, just concerned with maintenance type shit lol.

Its a 4 and AWD. The motor is a 3sgte.

So far no suspension work. I want to get rear coil overs, but still looking around for a way to try and make my own, or piece something together. Don't really want to spend 600 for rear coilovers and adjustable shocks cause I could care less for the shocks.

And the rolla is still rear drum. Going to ride the current rear till it dies or I do the motor swap lol. And if I get brave, may try and follow toyota1515's IRS setup on the rolla. Not sure, but love the concept.

So, small bit of knowledge gained today.

Last week I add my ebay header and today added a pipe to it so my o2 sensor would get some readings. Now when idling I went from 14.7 to 16. I did not expect such a drastic change to how the motor runs just by opening the exhaust. So now I need to get some tuning time in. Should be interesting.

I wish I could do all that at my house or have 2 cars so I can do it. :( Anyways, where did you get the rear rubber windshield molding from and corner ends?

I had to reuse what I had :/ Couldn't find a universal one I felt comfortable with, so reused with alot of black sealant.

So, here is an update to where Milla stands and what the future holds for her.

She recently lost alot of compression in cylinder 3 and runs better when I remove spark from the cylinder. Never got around to a leak down test as I have decided this motor has served its time and done well for the years of abuse it had taken from previous owners. With the engine in the current state a new plan for its future has been planned out.

After Sept 13 I will start removing the EFI and parts for the 3tc as her future self is going to be a 1UZ.
Once I have removed and sold some of the parts I am going to finish my Celica Alltrac.
Once the Alltrac is driveable and in a good spot then the Corolla will get a complete overhaul so I can finally do things right:
-Redoing the dashboard to move the tablet more to the center.
-New seats
-Non eBay crap steering wheel
-1UZ w/ W55 or 58 trans
-Hopefully RP steering
-Redo the paint correctly, but the same color
-Get MS working with the 1UZ
-New rear end and drive shaft
-Coilovers all the way around

So, with that list this willl be a long time project, atleast a couple years. I am partially making this post so I can remember what I need to do lol.

Small update.

I have done nothing!!!!! lol. I started helping a friend almost 2 years ago with a beetle. Should be finishing soon.

Decided to start the car for with old gas a few weeks ago, and even with a low compression cylinder, it started fine with the MS.

Hope to start the 1UZ during this spring/summer cause the beetle will be done.
