New guy from Hawaii

Post by 808TurboCorolla »

Hey everyone I am new to this forum.. Actually this is the first forum I have ever joined. I just wanted introduce myself and to share my project with you all, I have been playing with Toyota's since high school and just love them. In the last 6 years I started to mess around with turbo chargers. It's been a blast! I will never go back to nitrous again. I built a 1971 Corolla to raise hell on the streets and strip. So far the best time I got on the 1/4 was a 11.2 @ 122mph, this is all with a bone stock 2T block and a stock head "stock valves" just a Norris cam, springs and 18psi of boost :D I will try to upload some pics I hope it works.

Yes its a 44mm mikuni phh and to tell you the truth.. They are as easy to pressurize as a dcoe.
My last setup was a 32/36 weber dgv, super simple and made pretty decent power too.
