Re: How I fixed my cracked dash in my 82 Rolla Wagon

I would rather save the $100 and do the way you did looks good Hey kevneverlast, after the fix I posted here failed over time (see link that BOBLOOK above, and pic below) I bought one of those as was VERY dissa...

Re: rear axle swaps
Hey osrolla, I found great luck with a rear end pulled from a 2WD S-10 (4WD is wider). It's referred to as a GM 10 bolt, or 7.5, or 7.6, or it's true dimension, 7.625. There are a ton of factory and aftermarket LSDs available for $200-600 (Gov-lock style is not preferred, and later Torsen could use...

Better Lift Supports for TE72 Wagon - Liftgate Gas Springs
I've replaced my rear hatch lift supports with new Sach's brand and they are still lack luster. They will hold the hatch up, but you have to lift it 95% of the way there. I measured one on the bathroom scale and its putting out 80lbs of force. Does anyone know of a higher force lift support that wil...

Loaded Front Brake Calipers from TE72 82 Wagon Pair $10
Removed these for a big brake swap. Worked great and include Bosch ceramic pads. $10 plus shipping.

Re: anyone with coilovers...springrate question
I had 250lb/in up front on my fully trimmed wagon daily driver. It may have been a bit stiffer than stock, but still very much a daily; not too stiff. I would maybe go up to about 300, above that its prob start feeling pretty rough. After adding about 100lbs of weight with an engine swap I now run 3...

Re: How do I maximize mpgs? 1980 te-72 wagon
I wouldn't recommend the Weber for mpg. I had a stock 3TC with Weber 32/36, headers and 2.25" exhaust, tuned 15-16:1 AFR at cruise. Large tires, roof rack, fully trimmed wagon and got 23-27mpg. I never ran the stock setup, the carb was shot when I got the car.
