Timing time need help

hello everyone, my 3tc 80 te72 5sp wagon blah blah doesnt stall that often lol but its time to set the timing, i purchased a used Sun standard style timing light and i need to know which distributer hose to plug before doing this procedure, there are to hoses coming out, and once that is figured out...

yes sir bobby, the choke seems to work great as well as the idle mixture and cold idle speed screw so it goes through all the cold fresh start mods very well and as it warms up idle kicks down lower on its own nicely and eventually stalls, so i quickly open the stock air cleaner to see choke positon...

well constantly fiddling with this carb, but what i have noticed when it warms up and idles down and then stalls ( i have to pump the gas pedal a bunch of times while turning the engine over for it to start up again) any ideas about that.

No rear bumper renforcements?

why am i finding it impossible to find a rear bumper renforcement? my 1980 te72 wagon came with the outer flexible bumper but nothing else. any one have any ideas? i want it installed for state inspection reasons when the time comes. thanks everyone

i have loads of patience with this carb, grant it the cold weather helps with the trial and error of adjusting this carb and distributor with the quick cool down because its 26* degrees outside so all day pretty much each couple of hours ill go outside start it up and turn screws (lol) now its been ...

update: i can idle YIPPI! after clearing the 2 1/2 feet of snow off the car i continued to mess with the carb, while it runs on first warm up i noticed the top choke pull off (the one with the 2 vacuum hoses) pulling in and out causing the carb to act crazy then when it warms up itll stall, so i dis...

anything new Bob to talk about or show on carbs? there is like 3 feet of snow sitting on my wagon in the back yard right now with more snow coming today butttt rumor claims 50* weather is almost apon us to start the thaw lol (Lets go spring time!)
