Re: Drivetrain upgrade options?

You can shim the rearend or weld it for a locked rearend. There are a bunch of different gear ratios available for the stock 6.3 rearend that you have. Do you know what ratio you have now? There is 4.1, 3.9', 3.7, 3.58, 3.41, Nobody is giving up their gts disk brake rear but you can make one yoursel...

Re: Best head for a 3t-c?

45 and 38.5 mm on the valves and with these valves you can't cut much. Either go turbo or get higher compression Pistons. Both 2t and 3t heads have the same combustion chamber size so nothing to gain there between heads. 63cc stock.

Re: Best head for a 3t-c?

If you're porting, any head will work. All have the same combustion chamber so unless you're buying high comp Pistons you can angle cut it. Just remember that the chamber gets smaller so you gotta make sure the domes fit plus valve to piston clearance. If you're not porting look for the early pre sm...

Re: 2tc , 3tc long blocks , short blocks ?

A long block includes the head etc. 2t and 3t are similar engines different strokes. The 2t being the smaller cc version. Most parts interchange but 3t cranks may need a little grinding to fit in older blocks.

Re: Need help with pushrods

The valves may be contacting the Pistons. I always check my valve to piston clearance with clay on the piston and no valve lash before running an engine

Re: undersized cam bearings

Where do you live? My machinist here in reno no built a tool to cut in the 2t/3t cams correctly. He has done mine before and no hassles. Basically it looks like a cam tapered with grooves and he works it in. Not a fun process but works perfectly.

Re: T50 tail shaft question

Would love to see that write up but the site won't let me view it. I have a close ratio t-50 but the shifter is in the wrong location for my console in my te27 .

Or buy the brackets and rotors from www.peterdmotorsports.com
My brother made his own out of the 200sx rotors.
