So . . . After new gaskets (head, intake, exhaust, and valve cover), valve seals and radiator hoses, I threw on a carb that was included in box-o-parts that came with the car. Long time no post!!

Changed direction on the Challenge Roach a bit . . .

16x7 and 16x8 Starquest wheels coming . . . Along with Cressida 5 lug swap on the front and redrilled axles on the rear.

Now for the engine . . I have two turbos to choose from:

TD05-12B or TD04HL-15T . . .

Nothing to report . . .

Work and other projects have pushed the Roach to the back burner.

Thanks!! I'm going to try one those rebuild kits from RockAuto and see how good/bad they are.

The steering box on the Roach is leaking.

Any gotchas I need to be aware of in attempting a rebuild kit?
