Te72 only wagon came with leaf spring Seconded, my wagon has leaf springs. Something about being able to handle heavy loads (like tons of groceries) better. On the upside, drop blocks are an option, on the downside, they're pretty much the only option unless you want to get something made custom.

Seconded on checking the rear cylinders, I have also had a similar problem, and it turned out to be my drivers side rear cylinder.

My manual, which is Haynes I think, told me the latter.

If you have trouble with the throttle cable, you can get a piece that clamps onto the line (after you clip off the old end) to work with Weber/Redline linkages.
