T40 or T50 but a 2tc trans would be preferable due to shifter location. 71-74 uses a different starter but the large starter plate fits. 75-79 uses the small starter. ...

I have a shorter one too, I used a the short stick that Hurst makes and welded a plate with two holes to a spare t50 shifter.
