... lately both here and on other online sources about transmissions. The T50 in my 78 TE51 with stock 2tc is on its way out. Rebuild kits are hard ... so I don't know anything about their length, rear output splines and shifter locations. I know that T50s up to 85 would work if I swap the bellhousing ...

How much more longer is the w58 compared to the t50 shifter wise

My shifter shakes like crazy when i maintain speed in gear usually 3-5. I'm guessing thats the transmission mount thats the cause however I am open to more suggestions. Any idea guys? Also if it is the mount will the ae86 tranny mount work? Its for a TE72 and same t50 tranny. Thanks guys!
