Re: Ryan's TE31

I picked up some mesh wheels for $100. They are Elipsons 14x6. The offset makes the lip the same as my MA61 supra wheels. I'll probably refinish these. http://i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww80/tikiroar/Corolla/2014-02-20174725_zps3d2a0271.jpg http://i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww80/tikiroar/Corolla/2...

Re: Ryan's TE31

I was wanting to know this too. After reading your post I went to Autozone and grabbed a 3" lowering kit. Came to dead end at first. Blocks won't sit because hole on bottom of block is smaller than the dowel pin of the base. Bought a 3/4" drill bit $20 Home Depot. Drilled the hole bigger ...

Re: engine removal issue. 3tc Ae86

If I were you, i would take out the engine and trans all at once. I have done it like this every time without issues. Just keep an eye out for that pesky engine ground cable that gets me every time. If you leave the manual trans in the car, you have to slide the spline all the way out to let it be f...

Re: 1972 te27 exhaust?

No cat? I'm going to have to take a look under my 74 te27. I do know that it has a smog pump, but California is special when it comes to emissions. I know that my 74 civic has no cat.

Re: Looking for an engine in CA

I saw a TE31 on craigslist that had a nice turbo 3tc setup in it. Asking a low price for the whole car. Easy swap and save tons of $$$. I think it was in san diego or LA

Re: A/C

I am with you on this one. I have the same model, but a 76. I am thinking of making my own brackets and putting a 1994 camry AC in. These are ICE cold and use the 134 refrigerant. I know what components I would need, but the electrical is a mystery to me. what keeps the compressor from freezing up? ...
