so recently my motor seemed dead on cylinder 3(heat checked the exhaust while i was tuning my side drafts). did a test it was 90 on 1-2 and 60 psi on 3. changed the head gasket and that bumped the psi up about 30 more psi on cylinder 3 and a bit more on 1 and 2 but it still is too low and is dead. i...

Carb was jetted or was ran on a similar built motor with just a 284 cam.

Cam is 280 duration 464 lift, performance springs from brd, stock ported head, stock valves.

So I'm picking up a pair of mikuni 40 phh carbs and I was looking for some tuning tips. I have a pretty good knowledge of tuning carbs on these motors but have never messed with side drafts.

I've got my motor put together and now I'm questions wether I should have a locked distributor or not. I was having timing issues but I'm getting that solved. My question is should I be running a locked dizzy with a big cam or not? And what size jets should I run on a 32 36? Cam is 280 duration 464 ...

so ive got some rocker shaft collars from BRDRACING and if theres a certain amount of gap there should be between rocker arm and the collar... if anyone has any numbers let me know please!
