For Sale- immaculate 3TGTE intake manifold
Hi,
I have an immaculate 3TGTE intake manifold for sale. Just removed from my engine. The top section has been fully polished, lower section is stock. No longer needed as I'm making a custom set up.
Pics available for anyone interested, asking for $400 plus shipping.
Cheers,
Simon

Re: what to upgrade first
Hi, The T50 clutch will work with the W58 but you should aim to use the bigger W58 clutch as it's much stronger. It will bolt up onto your engine, can't remember now but it's about 25mm larger in diameter on the clutch plate. The W58 bell housing provides more space to allow for the bigger clutch. h...

Re: 3TC turbo versus 3TGTE
No fuel issues, 440s are perfect for my current GT25 turbo. Next rebuild I'm thinking of building a new manifold and fitting a bigger turbo, maybe something like a GT3076....
Hence the need for bigger injectors.
Cheers,
Simon

Re: 3TC turbo versus 3TGTE
I'm thinking of using 87mm Wiesco forged pistons. Have wondered if going 2mm over is too much of if I should get some 86mm pistons...
Haha, sorry thought you had EFI. I've used 440cc to date but thinking of using 550cc next time. Hoping that's enough fuel for 200rwkw..l

Simon

Re: 3TC turbo versus 3TGTE
Hey Jason,
Also wondering what size pistons you had and what the feeling is around maximum bore size for a 3TC?
Thanks,
Simon
