So iv got this 3tc with an upgraded cam, only thing i know about the cam is that the previous owner thinks it might be a 295 cam, unknown facts, specs or manufacturer. okay so im trying to figure all this cam timing out. iv seen adjustable cam gears that are adjustable up to 20*. why would i need to ever adjust timing? does timing change with a bigger cam? would i need one of these when upgrading to a bigger cam? is there anything i need along with buying the spec...

How exactly is it tuned? And so when i get the block bored out i bring it to the shop with crankshaft installed? Or separate crankshaft andflywheel? Will "pinning" the crank to the flywheel allow me to change flywheel out if ever needed? And yes if i ever have the option to upgrade to ARP ...

Yeah i left dizzy installed. Gonna check voltage on battery, load test and maybe even voltage drop just to make sure. Out of curiosity do they make an optima red/blue/yellow top sized for 3tc?

Check out technotoytuning.com. they make a shortshift kit for the t50 but not sure if its early or late model specific
