TE51 Liftback Spoiler
Does anyone know if there are any rear spoilers or ducktail for the Liftback? I know the Mark 1 Golf chin spoiler will fit but I cant even find a picture of a liftback with a little ducktail. I think a upper hatch window visor paired with a duck tail would look awesome. My wife had a 2008 Corolla XR...

Re: My 79 TE51 2TC
The Cam is a NOS (new old stock) JDM cam from HKS. I got it via a Us Marine buddy of mine who was stationed in Okinawa. He picked it up when I asked him to find me some 2-3TC parts if he could find any. He also got me a "heavy duty" oil pump. The pump as far as I can tell looks no differen...

Re: AE86 camber plates on TE51
Are there any TE51 camber plates out there? Picked up an AE86 GTS rear diff from the junkyard for 50 bucks! The suspension was all gone as were the front brakes.

Re: My 79 TE51 2TC
I would say it's making close to 60-80horse over stock. Won't know till I dyno it. If it's similar to most engines I've built then it's lookin to be around there. If I remeber right the 2TC makes 102hp from the factory so I'm figuring about 150 minimum, but in a car this light with a good solid driv...

Re: My 79 TE51 2TC
So the motor is coming along and is almost done. Gutted the engine and rebounded the cylinders, the factory cross hatching was still there! It wasn't as pronounced as when new but it was still visable. Anyway, new rods and pistons, pulled the rocker assembly apart, cleaned and polished all contact s...

Re: My 79 TE51 2TC
Hey guys! Been a really long time since I've been on here. Been finishing my 68 Mustang over the last few years and finally got the time and money to finish my TE51. So a few quick questions for anyone who might know. I'm going to re gasket the whole motor, while I'm in the process of doing body wor...

Re: My 79 TE51 2TC
Yeah the kid had no idea at all what he was doing. Doing this by hand takes a lot of man hours and an eye for details. My machinist said he can fix it no problem. I've began polishing the intake runners to a mirror finish. Now I gotta find me a better carb for it, any ideas?
