Re: The forum amount of activity worldwide has slowly dwindl

I enjoy looking at the forum regularly but can't always add a lot to it.I think people are missing out on the potential of these cars and engines. Please keep it #1

1982 T-50 Bellhousing

I thought I saw somewhere that 1982 3tc's came with the larger input shaft T-50 transmissions similar to the later AE-86 T-50 transmissions and had a different style bell housing. Can anyone verify if this is true or not?I have a later transmission and the bell-housings i have don't fit in the front ...

Re: Lifter positions?

The position of the holes makes no difference. The lifters are constantly rotating. If they are not,the cam and lifter surface will soon wipe out.

Re: Roller Cams

I did hear that a modified small block Ford lifter was used.Rollers have to have the tie bar in between to stabilize them.Normally a roller uses a billet cam but the iron cams can be treated apparently to be good enough for not too aggressive a profile. This could make 3tc's better than most any over...

Roller Cams

I've seen Schneider cams has roller cams available for TC engines.Does anyone have experience with them or perhaps another brand?A roller can be a big advantage with no break in or wear problems.
