Hmmm... Been a while between updates again! I have taken this lil rig from blow through to EFI, maxed out the GT25/S200sx compound and just within the last couple of weeks installed a larger compound turbo pair. 8-) New turbo setup being fabricated as usual by myself in a hurry in the shed... http:/...

Re: Trying to run my engine this week, help??

Hi mate, The standard alternator on the 3TC's we got over here in Australia require an external voltage regulator. You will need a vacuum reference for the brake booster and one source of vacuum should suffice for the vacuum advance. The PCV would benefit from being plumbed back to between air filte...

Re: la otra 3tc starlet

Good to hear the issues were only minor! What carb have you gone with? Is it a custom one from the big names? Hope to hear more positive news shortly! I have just started going the complete opposite direction... :o The carb just cannot handle the compound setup with boost off idle and positive press...

Re: 3T vs 13T

Hi there mate, The 13T engine has strange shaped pistons to match the strange pre-combustion chamber design in the head. If you are installing a 2TG head at a bare minimum you want to carefully check piston to valve clearance. A set of regular 3TC pistons would be my first choice if you can get them...

Re: NME308's TA23 Celica first outing!

What time did you do Jason?? Hi slaus, I went what seemed like a pretty lacklustre 8.67 with a 2.3 60 foot time over the eighth mile. It is however an unprepared airstrip & on the day cars which run bottom 10's over the quarter were running 8.2 & my mate with a 1GGTE RA23 who runs 11.2 @ 12...

Re: Fun Twin Turbo BBC Junker!

UPDATE: So yesterday was spent in the ongoing quest to permanently convert my supercharged outlaws buddy's to turbo power! There was no pressure or anything - but - the guy in the other lane in the below video is a mate of theirs and there was a friendly wager on the run... Apparently if we lost I w...

Re: Any one here still selling on ebay

I kissed ebay goodbye a few years ago when I sold an ecu for $1000AU. The buyer paid PayPal so the EPal whore got $150 of that leaving me $850 & vowing never to sell there again. :-\

Cheers,
Jason
