Re: Compression for N/A build

for the record... no one replied so i just went ahead and got the 14.2:1... hopefully this isnt a massive mistake. ahhhh, it might be...... :? a LOT depends on what variables Wideco used when calculating the compression ratio. I know for a fact that they, and other piston makers screwed up 4AGE pis...

Re: engine upgrade need help:

I was told to shaved the block at 40 and the head at 40 as well and to leave the cylinders stock that way the engine won`t over heat! and to get a set of double springs.. does it sound right to you? 40, and 40 is .080", or over 2mm. Just cutting, without knowing isn't the best way to build an ...

Re: engine upgrade need help:

ASSUMPTION: 310 cam is 310 degrees duration? Not knowing the 3T as well as I know the 4A... it is likely you will need a few thousand dollars worth of supporting parts, and machine work to properly run a 310 duration cam. If you are prepared for that kind of expense, I'd say new pistons at the very ...

Re: OST-039: The end of the beginning.......

4 angle valve job work ? can't be sure if I see what you are seeing, but what appears as a 4th angle is the throat of the seat, that will be blended into the surrounding bowl bowl and seat clean up go a long way to improved flow.... ;) http://ost.ebeans.ch/albums/userpics/10005/comparing_mirror_por...
